Account Manager - Arbor Contract Carpet, Inc.

Arbor Contract Carpet is looking for highly motivated sales professional with a positive attitude, and a good work ethic for our
Ft Lauderdale branch. We are expanding our customer base and are in need of energetic, goal oriented, “hunter” sales
mentality professionals that have high closing abilities and want to work in a fun environment.

commercial industries. We are one of the most progressive and fastest growing flooring companies in our industry.


  • Prospect continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques to increase account base and volume of sales on a
    consistent basis. Utilize Company leads to expand current customer base and follow up on all leads promptly.
  • Build and maintain quality relationships with existing assigned accounts
  • Contact existing customers via telephone, email and in person as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales
    goals for the Company
  • Meet regularly with new clients to assess level of satisfaction with services and to develop a list of strong referrals
  • Maintain a current list of all prospects in a Company-designated database and update CRM in a consistent and timely manner
  • Study, learn and fully grasp intimate details of measuring and bidding software
    • On-site measurements to be completed with iPad
    • Take-offs to be finalized at PC, not on-site
  • Create customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient and timely manner, turnaround time for
    producing requested bids is 24-72 hours
  • Develop pricing and business strategies in collaboration with direct supervisor and the Company
  • Participate in trade associations and trade show events; in addition to, assisting in all promotional efforts
  • Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous sales experience in the flooring industry or multifamily industry
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motorized vehicle
  • Positive attitude


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of the multifamily floor covering industry and knowledge of multifamily flooring products
  • Previous sales experience in the multifamily flooring industry
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
