Mentorship Program
Led by the Emerging Leaders Committee
About the Program
The Mentorship Program is designed to foster professional growth, knowledge sharing, confidence building and long-term career development through intentional relationships and consistent engagement.
To ensure a successful program, we encourage you to:
- Set clear goals in the first meeting.
- Set a consistent meeting cadence and prioritize reliable attendance.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with your mentor/mentee.
- Identify actionable takeaways after each meeting.
- Practice mutual accountability and provide constructive feedback.
Best Practices for Success:
- Come prepared with discussion topics or questions.
- Rotate meeting leadership to keep engagement high.
- Track goals and progress in a shared document.
- Respect confidentiality at all times.
- Celebrate milestones and achievements along the way.
Program Commitment and Early Conclusion:
We understand that circumstances may change. If, for any reason, you need to conclude your participation in the Mentorship Program before the end of the term, please notify us at membership@sefaa.org.
This allows us to properly close out the partnership and ensure clear communication, rather than meetings simply discontinuing without notice.
