Governor Signs Doorstep Trash Collection Bill into Law

FAA priority legislation protecting the doorstep waste collection industry has passed its final legislative hurdle and was signed by the governor late Friday. HB 529, sponsored by Rep. Manny Diaz (R- 103), will protect 1,200 jobs across Florida by allowing valet-style trash collection services to continue. This key legislative victory means the doorstep waste collection industry can continue to generate an economic impact of more than $68 million annually in Florida.
