Ryan R. McCain, Esq | Barfield, McCain, P.A

Ryan R. McCain, Esq. is a partner at Barfield, McCain P.A. Mr. McCain is certified by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer and is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar in addition to serving on The Florida Bar’s Residential Leasing Subcommittee. He has been selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star among attorneys under the age of 40. Mr. McCain has been representing apartment community landlords, asset managers, and property management companies since 2006, currently serves as Legal Counsel for the South East Florida Apartment Association, and has previously served as a Delegate on the Board of Directors for the Florida Apartment Association. SEFAA has awarded Mr. McCain with the President's Award and Associate Volunteer of the Year Award with FAA. He has been published numerous times in FAA's Multifamily Florida quarterly publication and frequently teaches Landlord-Tenant legal seminars, Fair Housing legal seminars, and Certified Apartment Management seminars throughout the State of Florida.


Keri Walker Pfeifer | SEFAA President-Elect

Keri Pfeifer, Senior Vice President, joined Bozzuto in 2009. She brings 20 years of property management experience to the Bozzuto team with a strong focus on the planning of new developments, execution of lease-up strategies and repositioning of value-add properties. She also has a history of building talented operations teams, whose concern and care for our customers have earned recurring rankings at the top of the industry for online reputation. Over the past nine years, Keri has been an integral leader in Bozzuto’s market expansion efforts in New England. In 2017, she was chosen to lead the company’s growth into the South Florida market. Keri currently oversees operations of over 6,000 units across 25 properties throughout South Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Prior to her move to Florida, Keri led Operations and Business Development strategy for Bozzuto’s New England portfolio, growing the company’s presence to 8,000 units throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. During her leadership in the north, Keri contributed to consultation for advisory services of award-winning new developments, oversaw lease-up strategies for 6,000 new units and captured the takeover of 18 properties. Keri continues to strengthen Bozzuto’s presence in South Florida. In the past two years alone, she has overseen the takeover of five communities and the development of four new communities applying a high-touch level of service, knowledge of innovative operations technology, and creative marketing tactics.


Kelly Mallette | Senior Director of Government Affairs, Ronald L. Book, P.A

Kelly Mallette has been a lobbyist at Ronald L. Book, P.A. for 18 years.  She provides lobbying and advocacy services for numerous firm clients, including business interests, hospitals and healthcare providers, professional associations, not-for-profit organizations, school districts and numerous local governments.  She has been instrumental to the firm in securing funding for special projects and making various substantive changes which are now law in Florida. Kelly is known among the firm’s clients for her superior communication skills, both verbal and written.  It’s not unusual for a client to see Kelly’s writing end up in official documents like veto messages, speeches and substantive legislation.  Kelly’s experience as a Senate aide to the former Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services has provided her with a unique insight into Florida’s budget process, including knowledge of important policies and priorities, and strong relationships with appropriations staffers. 


Don Seeley | General Manager
Interstate Restoration

Don Seeley Graduated from University of North Texas with a degree in Emergency Management and Developmental Planning. Internship with American Red cross on their Texas Disaster Action Team to respond to area wide disasters. Spent over 10 years in the Disaster Restoration industry holding multiple positions ranging from Project Management, Director of Operations to General Manager.

Paul Licata has immersed himself into the industry focusing on the Multi-Family, Commercial, and Health Care Markets. He previously served on the Executive Board of the South Florida Apartment Association and on the Florida board of the American College of Health Care Administrators. He has previously held board positions with the Florida Apartment Association as well as the National Apartment Association. Heavily focused on education, Licata has implemented training seminars on best practices and proper protocols for water losses and Mold remediation. His penetrative approach has helped limit his client’s exposure to liability while helping them realize substantial savings on unnecessary reconstruction costs.
