SEFAA's Young Professionals Council invites all members & non-members, affiliates, and vendors from around South Florida for an exclusive moderated Q&A featuring Ed Malone, Regional Vice President of Camden Living, and Lori Torres, Founder & CEO of Parcel Pending. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from our speaker's personal stories including their successes and challenges faced in the multi-housing industry.

Lori Torres | Founder & CEO
Parcel Pending
Lori Torres is the founder and CEO of Parcel Pending, the leading provider of package management solutions for residential, commercial, retail and university properties in the United States and Canada.
Lori has over 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Prior to Parcel Pending, she served in various senior roles at The Irvine Company during a 13-year tenure. At The Irvine Company, Lori was responsible for the operational oversight of the company's entire multifamily portfolio consisting of 1,200 property management associates operating over 44,000 apartment homes and generating $1B in annual revenue.
Her recent accolades including being named EY Entrepreneur Of the Year 2019 Orange County and 2017 Innovator of the Year by the Orange County Business Journal.
In 2019, Parcel Pending was acquired by Quadient (formerly Neopost). Parcel Pending by Quadient successfully delivers over 2 million packages monthly.
Ed Malone | Regional Vice President
Camden Living
Ed Malone is responsible for overseeing all facets of property operations related to Camden's 14,000 apartment homes located in Florida and Georgia. Malone joined Camden as a part of a merger with Paragon Group in 1997. His combined tenure with Camden and Paragon is in excess of 40 years.
Malone has served in this capacity since June 2006. Previously, he was Regional Manager, responsible for Camden's Tampa and South Florida portfolio. In 2019, Malone was awarded Camden's highest national award because his region was the top performing nationwide. Malone also has extensive experience in financing and underwriting, and has served as Regional Controller, Manager of Financial Planning and Assistant Vice President of Finance for Paragon Group.
Malone graduated Cum Laude from The State University of New York with a degree in Accounting and minor in Economics. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the state of Florida and Georgia.
Malone is active in the community, serving as treasurer of the Tampa Breakfast Sertoma Club. He is a former Sertoman of the Year. He is also past president of the Management Advisory Commission for Most Holy Redeemer Interparochial School. He has also served in various capacities in local youth sports organizations.

Andy Bermudez | 2020 Chair
Young Professional's Council
Andy is currently the District Manager for Camden properties. He has been recognized for developing a high-performing on-site team while exceeding resident expectations on a daily basis. He has participated in the planning and execution of a multi-million dollar redevelopment project, including repositioning 420-units. He's worked closely with their GC and REI team to meet completion deadlines, work through operations challenges and improve the overall design. He also actively participates in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce networking events and stays informed on market trends and upcoming projects.
